SHIPPING & RETURNS
We offer complimentary standard shipping on all U.S. orders over $40. Currently, we ship to addresses within the contiguous United States. We're unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories at this time. If you're located internationally and interested in Thebo products, please reach out to hello@thebohair.com and we'll do our best to assist.
Delivery typically takes between 3-8 business days from the time your order ships, depending on your location and carrier.
We want you to love your Thebo products! If you're not completely satisfied, we accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery for orders shipped within the U.S. Items must be unused or lightly used in their original condition. Please note that we cannot refund original shipping costs.
To start a return or exchange, email hello@thebohair.com with your order number in the subject line. If you purchased Thebo from a retail partner or salon, please return the product to that location. For exchanges involving a price difference, we'll send you an invoice that must be settled before we can ship your new items.
Once an order is placed, our team gets to work right away to get your products to you quickly. Because of this, we're unable to cancel orders after they've been submitted. If you need to make changes, you can always return the items once they arrive using our 30-day return policy.
We always recommend double-checking your shipping address at checkout. Unfortunately, once an order is placed, we cannot modify the shipping address in our system. While we can't be held responsible for packages sent to incorrect addresses, you may be able to request an address correction directly with the shipping carrier once you receive your tracking number.
We process orders quickly to ensure fast delivery, which means we're unable to add or remove items once your order has been confirmed. If you need something else, simply place a new order. If you ordered something by mistake, you can return it within 30 days of delivery.

Yes! We know everyone's hair care routine is different. You can change how often your subscription arrives anytime by logging into your account and selecting Manage Subscription. It's easy and gives you full control over your delivery schedule.
Subscriptions automatically include a 15% discount, so additional promo codes cannot be applied to subscription orders. You're already getting the best price!
Definitely! You can add as many products as you'd like to your subscription. Keep in mind that different products may have different suggested delivery frequencies (every 30, 60, or 90 days). You can customize delivery dates or sync everything to arrive together through your subscription account portal.

Thebo products are specifically formulated for braided and protective styles. Our products are sulfate-free (SLS and SLES), paraben-free, and we do not test on animals. We focus on lightweight, non-greasy formulas that won't cause buildup on braids while providing essential moisture and scalp care.
Absolutely! We are committed to ethical beauty, ensuring all our products are 100% cruelty-free. Thebo does not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we never will. We believe in creating effective, high-quality hair care without compromising our values or causing harm to animals.
Yes! Our products are free from harsh sulfates like SLS and SLES. These aggressive cleansing agents can strip your hair's natural oils and cause dryness, which is particularly problematic when you're wearing braids for extended periods. We use gentler cleansing alternatives that effectively clean without compromising moisture.
Some of our products contain water-soluble silicones, which provide smoothness and shine without the heavy buildup. These types of silicones wash out easily, even when you're cleansing through braids, so you don't have to worry about residue accumulation.
Yes! We intentionally avoid mineral oil in all Thebo formulas. Instead, we use lightweight, plant-based oils that absorb into the hair and scalp without clogging pores or leaving heavy, greasy buildup on your braids.

Braided and protective styles have unique needs—they require products that can penetrate through braids to reach the scalp, won't cause buildup or residue, and keep both the hair underneath and the braiding hair moisturized without heaviness or grease. Traditional hair products often leave white residue, create buildup, or don't adequately address scalp health during extended wear. Thebo was created to solve these specific challenges.
Yes! Thebo products are formulated to work with synthetic braiding hair, human hair extensions, and natural hair underneath braids. Our lightweight formulas won't cause slipping or loosening of your braids.

For daily maintenance, we recommend using our scalp spray or oil 1-2 times per day, focusing on the scalp. For cleansing, use our braid shampoo once per week or as needed. Our deep conditioning treatment can be used every 2-3 weeks while in braids.

Apply Thebo Braid Shampoo directly to your scalp in sections. Use your fingertips to massage gently, focusing on the scalp rather than the braids themselves. The formula is designed to cleanse without creating excessive suds that are hard to rinse from braids. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, ensuring all product is removed. Follow with our Scalp Oil or Spray once hair is dry.
BRAIDED HAIR CARE
Most braid styles can be safely worn for 4-8 weeks, depending on the style, your hair texture, and how well you maintain them. We recommend removing braids before excessive frizz, looseness, or matting occurs. Using Thebo products helps extend the life and appearance of your braids.
Scalp itching is common with braids due to dryness, tension, or product buildup. Thebo Scalp Spray is specifically formulated to soothe itching and irritation. Apply directly to the scalp 1-2 times daily. Also ensure you're not braiding too tightly and that you're cleansing your scalp weekly.
Before removal, apply Thebo Hair Oil generously to your braids and let it penetrate for 15-30 minutes. This adds slip and makes detangling easier. Remove braids carefully, working slowly and using your fingers to gently separate any tangles. After removal, deep condition your hair and give it time to rest before installing a new protective style.
No. Our formulas are carefully balanced to provide moisture without being so oily or heavy that they cause braids to loosen or slip. The lightweight texture absorbs into the hair and scalp without creating the excess moisture that can lead to frizz or slippage.
Avoid excessive tension when braiding, especially around the hairline. Use Thebo Edge Control for a sleek look without the extreme hold that can cause breakage. Apply Thebo Scalp Oil to your edges nightly to keep them moisturized. If you notice thinning or breakage, give your edges a break from braids for a few weeks.
Yes! Before swimming, apply Thebo Hair Oil to your braids for a protective barrier. After swimming, rinse your braids thoroughly with fresh water and cleanse with Thebo Braid Shampoo to remove chlorine or salt water. Follow with Scalp Spray or Oil to restore moisture.
We recommend wearing a satin or silk bonnet or sleeping on a satin pillowcase to reduce frizz and friction. Before bed, you can lightly apply Thebo Scalp Spray or Oil to keep your scalp moisturized overnight.
Give your hair a break for at least 1-2 weeks between protective styles. During this time, deep condition your hair, trim any split ends, and let your scalp breathe. This rest period is crucial for maintaining healthy hair and preventing breakage.
